Financial & Insurance Information
It is our mission to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget. Orthodontic treatment is as unique as every person, and treatment must be tailored to meet each individual’s specific needs. You initial examination appointment is complimentary. At your initial exam, the doctor will listen carefully to your concerns and take a detailed look at you and your teeth. The doctor will provide an estimation of your treatment needs and our front office will discuss the financial and insurance portion of the proposed treatment with you.
At Sound Orthodontics, we offer a variety of payment options, and for your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Financial Options
- In-Office Financing: For this plan, a down payment is required at the beginning of treatment, the remaining balance is divided into monthly payments with interest-free financing. To avoid monthly statements and reduce your carbon footprint ask about our monthly automatic debit option.
- Payment in Full: We offer a 5% discount to our patients for payment in full at the beginning of treatment.
- Third Party Financing: We work with Chase Health Advance, who offer 12, 18, and 24 month no interest extended payment plans that do not require an initial down payment. You may contact Chase Health Advance directly for approval or more information by calling 1-800-510-5638 or visiting their website www.chasehealthadvance.com.
Orthodontic Insurance
If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Remember that insurance policies vary, and we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. We accept most insurance, and once treatment has started, we will be happy to file your claims for you.
Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.
